Yuletide cheer.

My mind is slowly turning to shopping. Seems to be hardwired in the DNA for late November. This weekend I will be at the Hubbard's Christmas Market and the following weekend I will be doing the Yuletide Cheer show put on by Halifax Crafters. I'm super excited about this one because the other artists are really incredible. The show will be filled with things I want. Hope you can make it.

Meeting Wonderful Customers

This leopard print felt hat went to the best head possible. I don't think Audrey will mind me telling you that she recently underwent brain surgery. Although she has a beautiful bald head, she was in need of a hat. I loved meeting her and was amazed at her smiley positive look on life. She was just full of laughs. It wasn't an inexpensive hat, but she laughed it off saying that now she doesn't have to pay for her hairdresser appointments. She was truly inspiring.

Toronto Greetings

We just got home last night from our trip to visit my family in Toronto. This is the tree where I spent my childhood. It has lost a few of the lower limbs. I like to think that if they were still there I could have climbed up without the help of this ladder.

We took Dusty to the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) The adventure began in the subway. It was hard to get him out of the Museum subway station. You can see why. Tony called this "Mayan Butt Crack.

Dusty's favourite part was the Discovery room for kids where he spent over an hour digging for Dinosaur bones. Tony and I took turns sitting not so patiently while the other looked at the rest of the museum.

My little Lego fiend was pretty impressed with this Lego Pharaoh.

I was most blown away by the David Hockney exhibit. He has done beautiful images on the ipad and iphone using a simple inexpensive app called brushes. I downloaded the brushes app and now I'm addicted. My ability is limited, but who cares. It's so fun. This is my "Laundry night"

Before we knew it we were on the plane headed home. The sky at sunset was amazing. Didn't have my camera, but I did have my ipod.
