You have got to check this place out. Yesterday My boys and myself trekked into Halifax to sell my wares at the new Halifax Seaport Market. It was phenomenal in every way. I sold many hats which was very exciting and fun, but just to see this place was incredible. The building is huge and open with great big windows that look out onto Halifax Harbour. It has a beautiful mezzanine and a roof top that you can walk out onto. It is powered by windmills and the toilets are flushed by rainwater from the roof. There is every possible local goody imaginable to be had. I thought Dusty might help me out a bit, but he kept telling customers that the hats were $200 because that is the price of some Lego set which he has his eye on. I will definitely go back before Christmas. I wouldn't want to leave Lunenburg, but I wish we could pick the town up and move it 50 km. east.

Tomorrow morning I am heading to the new Halifax Seaport Farmers' Market to sell my wares. Very excited to see this fabulous new building and be surrounded by all kinds of local gourmet goodies. Not quite as excited to be on the road at 4:30a.m, but for this I have recruited my most wonderful husband/chauffeur. Poor little Dusty will be snatched from his bed and plopped into his car seat. Please pray that he stays asleep.
If you are in the Halifax area please come see me. The market runs from 7am to 4pm.

You just can't make this stuff up. Yesterday our son Dusty decided out of the blue that he would really like to be a sumo wrestler. He has the word a little confused and calls it souvenir wrestling. He assures us not for real when he grows up because they have some bad rules like they are allowed to punch in the stomach and choke and he does not want to be punched or choked by the other guy. None the less, in the last 24 hours he has taken it up as a serious hobby. Myself, Tony and the dog find ourselves ambushed when we least expect it. He INSISTED that I rig him up this costume so that he could really get into it. Life is just full of surprises.
